Swanage and District Angling Club
Swanage & District Angling Club (SADAC) is situated in the heart of Swanage’s fishing community at Peveril Point. Swanage is on the Jurassic Coast and 6 miles before the end of the infamous South-West Coast Path. The club started from humble beginnings with a small building consisting of one small room, where local anglers would congregate. The current clubhouse is a far cry from its modest beginning. SADAC now boasts a modern, up to date facility, adjoining the Swanage Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) boat house, and can lay claim to some of the best views in Swanage. All members can use the club facilities, and have the option of storing a dinghy on the foreshore, along with engine and oar storage. The cklub has a small canteen and is also an ideal venue for social events. SADAC caters for all age groups and abilities, whether you are a seasoned angler, starting your angling journey or just a social member – all are welcome. As a member you will be issued a key fob which will enable you to access the club at any time. Additional benefits include public liability insurance through the Angling Trust and exciting opportunities to pit your angling skills against other anglers. Most importantly you will have the opportunity to mix with other like-minded people, keen on angling and to embed a sustainable and inclusive angling culture.
